Analytical centers and leading German media monitor the development of the situation in the regions of the world, which has a significant impact on the distribution of geopolitical powers and relations between the world’s leading players. One such region is Asia-Pacific, including Singapore, located in the southern part of the Malay Peninsula in Southeast Asia.

For several centuries, it was a logistics center and gateway to Asia. As an important trading center in Southeast Asia, Singapore also benefits from actually no language barriers, a well-trained workforce, a low level of bureaucracy, political stability, and proximity to cheap final production sites, particularly in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Thousands of companies and corporations have established and registered their headquarters in Singapore to have direct access to Asian markets. Singapore also has the world’s second largest container port. Therefore, the city-state is also considered the central transport, logistics and trade center of the ASEAN region.
